Dave has been working with the award-winning Lunar Saxophone Quartet since 2004. This talented group of performers has developed a reputation as one of the UK's most exciting contemporary ensembles and their dedication to discovering and commissioning new music is getting the quartet noticed far and wide.

Summer 2007 saw the LSQ's first British tour being launched. Entitled 'FLUX' the tour explores the stunning new sound world of saxophone quartet and grand piano. Jazz-artist Dave Stapleton (currently writing a solo work for Dave Danford) performed with the ensemble in a number of performances of his new 45-minute suite 'Just Around The Next Corner'.
